The Saluki Welfare Fund does not have centrally located kennels or a van and so we rely on members and other helpers to transport dogs for us.
Our rescued Salukis need to be moved from their initial location to their volunteer foster carer and occasionally between carers. Sometimes this involves just a short local trip, but we move dogs all over the country and sometimes we need to move a dog from one end of the country to the other.
If you think you could help us by transporting a newly rescued Saluki, or one that is on it's way to its new home then do please get in touch.
In the first instance please contact one of our Welfare Wardens who will be pleased to add you to our list of transport helpers and you can help us get that rescued Saluki on its way. Even if you can only offer transport for a short distance it may just help us to setup a relay so we can get that Saluki where it needs to be.
We can't pay you for your services, but we will re-imburse you for your costs.
Feel free to get in touch to ask us any questions you may have if you feel you can help us with this important task.
